Prior to his UK relocation, Duxson spent the previous five seasons at Sunshine United where acted as vice-captain. His efforts across the season saw him named in the competition's team of the year, finish third in the competition's best player award, and being named the club's best and fairest.

Duxson has also enjoyed three stints abroad. During his opening two seasons (2018-2019) for Irchester CC in the Northamptonshire Cricket League, he was a resounding success racking up 1,818 runs from 42 games across both seasons, at an average of 64.93 including four centuries and 11 half-centuries.
