Usman is a left-handed top-order batter who currently plays his cricket for Shenield Cricket Club in the Essex Cricket League - Premier Division. In a breakthrough 2022, the young gun racked up 400 runs, including three half-centuries, and a best of 82.
Also a product of the Essex County Cricket Club U18's side, Usman will be looking to the UK 2023 summer to again continue his development and movement up in the game. Also bowling useful slow left-arm orthodox, the 18-year-old has shown he can influence games of cricket with all three facets.
Usman has previously scored centuries across age-group cricket, and is set to head down-under to show case his talents over the ditch. He has signed for Hay Park Cricket Club in the Bunbury & Districts Cricket Association for their 2023/24 Campaign.
