Vaibhav Panwar is a genuine all-rounder playing for Uttarakhand in Indian domestic cricket.

A left-handed bat and slow left-arm orthodox spinner, Panway plays alongside fellow CricX stars including Karanvir Kaushal, Saurabh Rawat, and Mayank Mishra.

He broke into the Uttarakhand side during the 2018/19 season, playing all three formats. He excelled, particularly in the Ranji Trophy hitting 340 runs at 37.77 with a maiden first-class ton (101).

Due to the depth and strength of Uttarakhand’s spin attack, bowling opportunities were limited, but he did pick up 9 wickets at 17.33 in the Vijay Hazare Trophy (List A) to evidence his all-round quality.

Panwar then ventured to the UK to play his maiden club stint in 2019. Playing for Coventry and North Warwickshire, in the top tier of the Warwickshire County League, he scored 521 runs at 30.65 and took 26 wickets at 24.73.

Unfortunately, COVID struck to hamper Panwar’s domestic progress, but he is hoping to return to the domestic fold in future.
