Raj Biswa

Raj Biswa is a dynamic and seasoned batting all-rounder who made a significant mark for Meghalaya in Indian domestic cricket. Despite being a late entrant to the professional scene, Biswa quickly established himself as a dependable top-order batter and a handy bowling option.

He burst onto the scene in the 2018/19 Ranji Trophy season, amassing 546 runs at an impressive average of 45.50. His debut campaign featured two centuries, including a career-best 175. After a pandemic-enforced break, he returned in the 2022/23 season, adding a further 294 runs at 36.75. Biswa signed off in style during his final domestic season (2024/25), delivering his most prolific performance with 441 runs at 55.12, again notching up two centuries.

Across his first-class career, Biswa compiled 1,281 runs at a superb average of 45.75, underscoring his consistency and quality at the top level. He also contributed with both bat and ball in white-ball formats, proving himself as a reliable all-round option.

Outside India, Biswa has enjoyed considerable success during two overseas stints. In 2019, he played for Wem in the Shropshire Premier League, scoring 784 runs at 34.09 and taking 39 wickets at an outstanding average of 13.97. He returned to the UK in 2022 for a standout season with Keynsham in the West of England Premier League, where he dominated with 1,235 runs at 61.75 and claimed 26 wickets at 25.64.

Now retired from domestic cricket, Biswa is exploring opportunities in the Legends League and similar global formats. With a proven record across formats and conditions, he is a valuable asset both on and off the field—an experienced campaigner who comes highly recommended.
