Merivale Papanui has signed Cumbrian brothers Samuel, and Bert Medhurst for their 2022/23 Christchurch Metro Championship campaign.
The brothers play for Northern Premier League outfield Netherfield and also feature for the County (Cumbria), with Sam breaking into the 1st XI (NCCA) this summer.
Sam is a genuine all-rounder who opens the bowling and boasts 110 plus club wickets, with an average a tick over 12, over the past 2 years.
Bert is a talented leg-spinner who bats, who last summer bagged 39 wickets at 16.03, alongside 153 runs at 30.
The promising all-rounders will travel down under this winter to continue their development and have signed with Merivale Papanui Cricket Club for their 2022/23 Christchurch Metro Championship campaign.
