Churchill Cricket Club is delighted to announce the signing of promising quick Kian Farnworth for their 2022/23 Latrobe Valley and District Cricket League campaign.
Farnworth is a bowling all-rounder from Lancashire, England.
The young seamer currently plays club cricket for Accrington Cricket Club in the famous Lancashire League. Plying his trade in the 1XI, the youngster has taken 26 wickets at 29.15 so far this season (2022), and his right-arm medium pace has played a large part in his club’s success this summer.
Kian enjoyed stints in the Lancashire County age group teams from a young age, eventually developing into an experienced senior player in club cricket. At 22, Farnworth has a fantastic understanding of the game and has the ability to influence matches with both bat and ball.
Now looking to continue his journey, Kian is set to travel down under this winter to play for Churchill Cricket Club for their 2022/23 Latrobe Valley & District Cricket League campaign.
