Deepdene is pleased to announce the signing of English batting all-rounder Sam Julyan for its 2022/23 Eastern Cricket Association campaign.
Julyan is a 23-year-old, reliable number 3 batsman and medium-fast bowler for Trowbridge 1st XI, playing in the ECB West of England Premier League Wiltshire Division.
Since his 1st XI debut in 2013 at just 15 years old, he has scored a total of 2,415 runs @ 24.15 and taken 101 wickets @ 20.75 across 122 league games, making him the third highest all-time run scorer and sixth highest wicket-taker for Trowbridge Cricket Club 1st XI.
During the 2021 season, Julyan received both Trowbridge’s 1st XI Player of the Year, and 1st XI Batsmen of the Year, thanks to his 537 runs at an average of 35.80. He scored a total of 958 runs @ 41.65 for the club across all competitions.
Julyan consistently impressed with 7 x 1st XI 50s, including a 95 in the Wilshire Wallop T20 tournament, and 84 in the ECB West of England Premier League T20 tournament.
The talented all-rounder is now set to embark on his maiden stint down under having signed with Deepdene Uniting for their 2022/23 Eastern Cricket Association campaign.
