Kirkburton has added to their ranks with the signing of promising Australian gloveman Jack Kelly for their 2023 Drakes Huddersfield League campaign.
Kelly is a passionate and enthusiastic wicket-keeper batter playing in the WACA Premier Cricket Competition in Western Australia.
Kelly made his debut during the 208/19 season and has gone on to play a number of 1st Grade matches in a competition flooded with WACA State, BBL, and Australian players.
A gifted wicket-keeper, and technically correct batter, he has won many awards throughout his fledgling career. An incredibly dedicated, and hard-working, cricketer, Kelly aspires to break into professional cricket in future.
In view of his development, Kelly is set to utilise his British Passport and embark on his maiden UK stint. He will play for Kirkburton, alongside Sri Lankan star Roscoe Thattil, during their 2023 Drakes Huddersfield Cricket League campaign.
