CricX are excited to announce that Yorkshire Premier League All-Rounder Connor Fisher has signed an agreement with East Malvern Toorona Cricket Club for the 2023/24 season.

A tall opening batsman, Connor is a stylish left hander playing for Tickhill Cricket Club in the South Yorkshire Premier League. He joined Tickhill at the beginning of the 2022 season after spending two very successful seasons at former club Houghton Main.

Across two seasons and 42 games for Houghton Main, the prospect chalked up 1235 runs at an average of 38.59, including a top score of 119 not out. Since moving to Tickhill at the beginning of last season, Connor has already recored just shy of 900 runs for the South Yorkshire side, again averaging in the late 30’s.

Also a left-arm medium pacer, Fisher picked up 17 wickets in 2021, averaging a shade under 30 with the ball for the season. Since moving to Tickhill opportunities have been few and far between but he hopes he can secure regular overs towards the back end of the UK 2023 season.

Fisher is keen to continue his success for Tickhill this summer before setting his sights on his first stint down under for the 2023/24 season. Also a qualified ECB Level 1 Coach, Connor is a player we see having a massive impact both on and off the field for his club.

We wish Connor and every one at East Malvern Tooronga CC all the best for their upcoming Eastern Cricket Association campaign.
