Kingston Hawthorn is delighted to announce the signing of Warwickshire left-arm seamer Jordan Bulpitt for their 2022/23 Victorian Premier Cricket campaign.

Bulpitt is an exciting left-arm seamer who played for Warwickshire in the Royal London One Day Cup competition last summer.

The Stafford-based quick earned his List A debut courtesy of his exploits for both Walsall, and Warwickshire 2nd XI, in the Birmingham League, and County 2nd XI Championship, respectively.

Having enjoyed a first-class debut for Cambridge MCCU in April 2018, Bulpitt toiled away in the Birmingham League for Wolverhampton, then Walsall (since 2019), before his prolific 2021 calendar year.

He took the Birmingham League by storm bagging 31 wickets in his first 9 games to earn a Warwickshire 2nd XI call-up. On debut, Bulpitt excelled taking figures of 5-49 against Lancashire which prompted first-team inclusion.

During his time playing for Warwickshire, the paceman returned best figures of 2-33 from an 8 over opening burst vs Northants. Unfortunately, injury struck mid-season which curtailed further involvement in the tournament.

However, a strong winter and Bulpitt has hit the current season running, taking 20 wickets at 14.70 for Walsall to date this season. The left-armer has returned to the Warwickshire-fold, playing second-team cricket again this summer.

Bulpitt is eager to make a career out of cricket, and in a view to his development, he is due to play down under this winter having signed with Kingston Hawthorn for their Victorian Premier Cricket campaign.
