Yarraville is delighted to announce the signing of Yorkshire prospect Harry Allison for its 2022/23 VSDCA campaign.

Allinson is a hugely talented right-handed opening batter from Yorkshire, England. Widely regarded as one of county cricket’s future stars, Allinson is just at the start of his journey into full-time professional cricket.

The Yorkshire CCC Academy graduate has transitioned from age-group cricket for his County, to making his 2XI debut. In August last year (2021) Allinson made his maiden 2nd XI hundred (126 off 217 balls) in a four-day match. The 19-year-old already has 12 appearances under his belt for his county’s second eleven as he continues to work towards a full-time contract.

At Club level, Allinson turns out for Yorkshire Premier League powerhouse Harrogate Cricket Club. The opener’s numbers reflect his prowess with bat-in-hand, and to date, he has racked up nearly 2500 runs with 5 centuries at an average of over 30. As well as his consistency with the bat, the young Yorkie prides himself on his ability to influence the game on the field and bowls occasional RA off spin.

The young gun has a hunger to carry on developing as he seeks higher honours within the game. He is set to continue his development with a season down-under having signed with Yarravale for their 2022/23 Victorian Sub District Cricket Association campaign.
