Jaidel Richardson is a proven seam-bowling all-rounder currently pushing for professional cricket in the Caribbean.
The talented all-rounder has represented Anguilla at every level and in recent years has been an integral member of the Senior side. He opens the bowling and can generate good pace, with the ability to shape the ball. With the bat, he is a hard-hitter from the middle-order, usually batting at 6-7.
Due to his strong performances for Anguilla, Richardson was picked for the Leeward Islands Under-19 side for the West Indies National Tournament in 2016. Since then the all-rounder has been knocking on the door of the Senior Leeward Islands side but has yet to gain selection.
Given Anguilla is a British Overseas Territory, Richardson has the added benefit of holding a British Passport, meaning he escapes the current visa issues in the UK.
Since the 2019 season, Richardson has played several summers in the UK. After enjoying a successful maiden season for St Helens Town in the strong Liverpool and District Cricket Competition (54 wickets at 11.43 and 583 runs at 25.35), he has spent the past two season in Southampton, whilst studying at Solent University, playing for Totton & Eling (2022 - Southern Premier League), and Salisbury Athletic (2023 - Southern League Division 1).
The talented British Passport holding all-rounder has now completed his studies and is eager to impress after signing for Leycett Cricket Club in the North Staffs and South Cheshire League.
Jaidel has his own accommodation in Birmingham.
