Madushanka is a highly respected player in Sri Lankan circles who has also enjoyed four fantastic seasons in UK league cricket.
In 2017, he excelled during his maiden stint with Lancaster in the strong Northern ECB Premier League (47 wickets at 15.02 and 349 runs at 19.39), before helping Skelmanthorpe to the Drakes Huddersfield League (Championship Division) title in 2021 (457 runs at 45.70 and 55 wickets at 12.93). He would go on to impress in both 2022 and 2023, playing for Cleator in the Cumbria Premier League (36 wickets at 15.78), and Sandal in the Bradford League, respectively.
Recommended by various coaches, including former Sri Lankan High-Performance Coach Simon Willis, Madushanka is eager to explore overseas opportunities, both in the UK and beyond moving forward.
