Kurtlyn Mannikam is a promising all-rounder playing for KwaZulu-Natal Inland in South Africa.
A schoolboy prodigy, Mannikam was a Jacques Kallis scholarship winner, attended Maritzburg College, and excelled through the provincial age groups.
After a glittering junior career, he earned his senior Inland debut at 19, playing a T20 match in February 2015. He has since played 64 matches across the three formats, which he has enjoyed considerable success, particularly with the ball. Mannikam has taken 79 wickets at 30.77 and scored 651 runs at 21.00.
However, his figures are on the rise courtesy of two productive domestic seasons for Inland, namely 20 poles at 34.40 (2018/19), and 34 wickets at 27.52 (2019/20).
In a view to pushing higher honours, Mannikam embarked on a second stint abroad in 2019. He enjoyed success for GMCL’s Flowery Field Cricket Club, following his maiden season with Radlett in the Hertfordshire ECB Premier League in 2017.
The off-spin bowling all-rounder, who benefits from CSA level two coaching qualifications, is eager to return to Northern shores, once again, in 2022.
