Manisankar Murasingh is a high-class Indian all-rounder and long-time pillar of Tripura cricket. A sharp new-ball seamer and powerful left-handed middle-order batter, he has been a dominant force in the Ranji Trophy since his debut in 2009/10, amassing 310 wickets at 26.52 and 3,819 runs at 26.89, including 17 five-wicket hauls and four centuries. In recent years, he has maintained exceptional red-ball form, taking 30 wickets in both the 2023/24 and 2024/25 campaigns at averages of 14.13 and 15.85 respectively, and delivering match-winning spells for East Zone in the Duleep Trophy. In white-ball cricket, he was among the top wicket-takers in the 2023/24 Vijay Hazare Trophy with 16 wickets at just 11 apiece.
Murasingh’s overseas record is equally impressive. After a solid season with Todmorden in the Lancashire League, he produced three dominant years for Philadelphia in the North East Premier League, hammering 3,395 runs at 53.89 with 13 hundreds and taking 140 wickets at 13.60, including eight five-fors. Proven in all formats and conditions, Murasingh is a match-winner with both bat and ball and is now open to UK opportunities for 2026.
