Nitin Saini is a high-class wicket-keeper batter who has graced domestic cricket for over a decade.
A legend of Haryana cricket, the former India A and Kings XI Punjab star has scored 4,953 runs at 32.80 with 13 centuries and 23 fifties for the State in Ranji Trophy cricket, since his debut in January 2007.
Add a further 353 runs at 58.83 for the North Zone and 66 in his solitary India A outing sees Saini nudging 5,000 first-class runs alongside 2,000 plus runs in white-ball cricket.
During his illustrious career, Saini has enjoyed several barnstorming Ranji Trophy seasons – none more so than his 989-run 2016/17 season, which culminated with his India A inclusion against the touring Bangladeshi’s in February 2017. His tally included 4 hundreds – a highest score of 227 – two further half-centuries and a season average of 61.81.
Saini was also a key member of the Kings XI Punjab side during the 2012 IPL tournament, however (and surprisingly) he hasn’t featured since.
As it appears unlikely he'll return to IPL cricket, the run machine is eager to secure opportunities in America. A quality player and someone we’d strongly recommend.
