AUCC seamer signs for Feckenham - 04/03/16

FECKENHAM have signed young seamer Mitch Douglas for their Worcestershire County League campaign.

Douglas (20) is making his way through the Adelaide University ranks in South Australia’s grade competition. He has made an excellent impression the the SACA to date this summer and much is expected of the talented paceman.

In his maiden season for AUCC, in a club that can boast a raft of representative players namely Joe Mennie (Hurricanes, Redbacks), Tom Cooper (Renegades, Redbacks, Somerset), Ben Cooper (Netherlands), Aneurin Donald (Glamorgan) and Andy Delmont (Redbacks, Llamas), he has recently broken into and cemented is spot in the 2nd Grade.

An opening, hit-the-deck style bowler and hard-hitting batsman, Douglas moved to AUCC this summer following a few years in Country Victoria for Coomealla Wentworth Cricket Club in the Sunraysia Cricket Association.

Douglas will play his maiden UK stint for Feckenham in Division 2 of the Worcestershire County Cricket League.
