Budricks heads to Devon - 09/03/16

SHOBROOKE PARK have signed talented all-rounder Jacques Budricks for their 2016 Devon League campaign.

Budricks (21) is from South Africa’s Eastern Cape playing Premier League Cricket for Port Elizabeth Cricket Club. 

A product of Pearson High School, the batsman/seamer scored 928 runs at 24.42 and took 71 wickets at 15.23 over 58 1st XI games before his transition into senior men’s cricket.

During his 1st XI career, he topped the wicket charts (2011-12), was the MVP and skippered the team (2012-13), winning the Pearson Award.

Budricks subsequently impressed in club cricket for PECC in the Prospect (2nd XI) side, before heading to the UK to play his maiden stint abroad.

Playing in the Scarborough Beckett League in Yorkshire, Budricks enjoyed a solid opening season for Kirbymoorside (547 runs at 36.50 and 42 wickets at 13.92).

He will now make his second UK appearance, this time for Devon League's B Division side Shobrooke Park in 2016.
