Castellas returns to Flowery Field - 30/10/15

FLOWERY FIELD have re-signed promising keeper-batsman Liam Castellas for next summer in the inaugural Greater Manchester Cricket League. 

Castellas returned to Northern shores in 2015 to play for Flowery Field, making 604 runs at an average of 33.56 including 116* off 89 balls.

He previously spent two seasons playing for Brooksbottom CC and in 2009 scored 483 runs at 25.42, including a highest score of 129.

The following season he hit 782 runs at 39.10 to finish third in the Division One run-charts for 2010. 

Castellas has built a reputation as an exceptional wicket-keeper which saw him make his Premier 1st XI debut during the 2010/11 season and hold his place in for the following 2 seasons.

He was also appointed Head Coach of the Cricket Victoria Academy (Female) and his coaching over the following seasons saw Victoria into several National Championship finals.

Castellas is delighted to be returning to Flowery Field ahead of their first season in the Greater Manchester Cricket League.
