LIVERSEDGE have signed talented batting all-rounder Jesse Dinnie for their season in the newly merged Bradford Cricket League.

Dinnie (21) has played the past two seasons for Casey following a move from St Kilda in 2013/14, with whom he played with since his Victorian Premier Cricket debut as a 15-year-old.

He has cemented his spot at the top of Casey’s second grade this summer and has also developed into a genuine all-rounder, taking his maiden 5-wicket haul with his off-spin recently.

Dinnie has also spent the past two off-seasons plying his trade in the Darwin Premier Grade Competition as an interstate professional.

Playing as a marquee player, against a raft of first-class and international cricketers, he performed with distinction during his two stints, firstly with Southern Districts (2014) then last summer with Waratah (2015).

Alongside Premier cricket in Melbourne, Dinnie has also played 1st XI cricket in the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association for Moorabbin, albeit his focus is now on making his way into Premier cricket’s top flight.

He is eager to progress onto higher honours and will spend the 2016 season playing for Liversedge in Championship A of the recently merged Bradford Cricket League.
