Hotham hitting up Glastonbury this summer - 12/03/15

Callum HothamCALLUM HOTHAM will join West of England Premier League club Glastonbury for the upcoming summer.

The Bristol Somerset Division club have signed promising wicket-keeper batsman Hotham (18) and much is expected of the prolific run-getter.

Hotham, who plays club and representative cricket in Bathurst, NSW is currently enjoying a strong 2014/15 season, where he is approaching 1,000 runs averaging over 50 across a number of teams.

He has scored 407 runs at 40.70 for City Colts in the Bathurst District Cricket Association First Grade RSL Cup. He has represented the Association in the Mitchell Cricket Council this summer, and his exploits (averaging 34.33) helped Bathurst to a 5th straight Presidents Cup title.

His success culminated with selection for the Mitchell Cricket Council, where he played one match in the Western Cricket Zone - Inter Council Open. He also represented the Western Zone Under-19s, helping them to the Country Cricket NSW - Country Colts title, where he averaged 26.67.

He is a budding cricketer eager to impress during his maiden stint abroad in 2015.
