Kings Hill sign talented Tygerberg all-rounder - 09/03/16

KINGS HILL have signed promising seam-bowling all rounder Jancan Adams ahead of their 2016 campaign.

Adams (25) has been a prominent figure for Tygerberg Cricket Club in the Western Provice Cricket Association since his introduction as a 17-year-old in 2007/08.

He has been a stand-out for his club in recent years in-particular, hitting a career-best 150* en-route to 620 runs at 34.44 and 23 wickets at 24.34 in 2010/11 followed by another 520 runs at 30.58 and 30 wickets at 23.03.

Adams has now comfortably completed the 2,000 run, 100 wicket landmark for his club.

The South African all-rounder has also starred abroad, with a stints in Holland (2010), England (2012, 2015), Northern Ireland (2013) and Wales (2014).

Last summer, he scored 539 runs at 44.92 and took 29 wickets at 21.38 for Addington Village in Division 3 of the Kent Cricket League.

Adams will now return to Kent in 2016, this time for Kent Regional side Kings Hill who will be aiming for the Championship East Division title.
