Marsden sign Southern Force's Joraslafsky - 23/12/14

Tom JoraslafskyMARSDEN will have South Australian 1st Grade spinner/bat Tom Joraslafsky on board for their 2015 season.

Joraslafsky (22) is an integral member of the Southern District side who play in the South Australian Grade Competition.

He is currently playing his fourth season in the top flight and is quickly approaching 100 A Grade wickets making him one of the leading all-time wicket-takers for Southern District.

Joraslafsky has featured in several representative sides in recent years, most notably the SACA Grade Team of the Year, Southern Force (SACA Premier League) and the South Australian 2nd XI (Futures League).

He has signed with Marsden for next summer and will be hoping to push them towards promotion, having finished third in the Drakes Huddersfield "Championship" last season.

Joraslafsky has previously enjoyed success abroad, during his maiden stint in the Cherwell League back in 2010.

Playing for Bletchley Town he was the league’s third leading wicket-taker (41 wickets at 15.12) and he also struck 361 runs at 24.07 from the middle-order.

The South Australian will have big shoes to fill though, given he'll be replacing fellow CricX star Graeme Tryon who dominated for Marsden last summer hitting 837 runs at 48.50 and taking 40 at 13.33.

Nevertheless, the Southern District ace certainly has the ability and pedigree to match last season's kiwi recruit.
