Poles aplenty as T Mac does it again for Sleaford - 18/08/14

Tim McIntosh ANOTHER brilliant all-round performance from Tim McIntosh helped Sleaford to an 8-wicket win over Grimsby Town.

The former kiwi Test batsman followed up last weekend's 179 not out and 7-87 (15) against Skegness with figures of 6-24 (10.3) then struck an undefeated 79 from 66-balls, guiding his Sleaford side to a comfortable victory.

The win moves last year's Lincolnshire County Board ECB Premier League winners into 5th spot with 210 points behind Bourne (266), Bracebridge Heath (239), Woodhall Spa (231) and Lindum (220).

McIntosh extends his lead on the league batting run-charts, topping the 1,000 run mark for the second successive season. He now has 1,014 runs at 92.18 with 3 hundreds and 4 fifties.

His 6 wicket haul also takes him level with Lindum's Jonathan Miller at the top of the wicket tally with 48 wickets apiece, including three 5-wicket hauls and an average of 15.70.
