Promoted Cornwood re-sign Thompson - 11/10/15

Jackson ThompsonCORNWOOD re-sign all-rounder Jackson Thompson for a third year following promotion in the DCL.

Jackson Thompson has been re-signed once again by newly promoted Cornwood after guiding his club back to the Devon Premier League.

He was one of the division's stand out performers last season, hitting 677 runs at 45.13 alongside 15 wickets at 14.73.

Having played club cricket since 2002, Thompson went on to completely dominate the 2011 and 2013 seasons, most noteably taking 38 wickets at 15.13 during the former and breaking a league record with 222 runs in the latter.

He has also spent three years on the County circuit playing for Gloucestershire, Middlesex and most recently the Unicorns. 

Thompson is delighted to be returning to Cornwood in 2016 and hopes to guide his club through another successful season.
