AUSTERLANDS sign prolific Indian all-rounder Sachin Rana for their inaugural Pennine Cricket League.

Rana (31) has lorded Indian domestic cricket for over a decade and has been a key cog in the successful Haryana machine since his debut in 2004.

An explosive batsman and intelligent seamer with over 5,000 runs and 200 wickets over the three formats in domestic cricket. Rana has also featured in the IPL for the Kolkata Knight Riders, Pune Warriors, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore with success.

With the bat, his most prolific first-class season for Haryana was in 2013/14 hitting two centuries amongst 588 runs at 53.45. With ball in hand, Rana has been one of his sides most reliable performers, particular between the 2007/08 and 2011/12 season taking 83 wickets at 21.16.

He continues to star for Haryana alongside profile Indian team-mates Virender Sehwag, Mohit Sharma and Rohit Sharma.

Rana recently captured his fifth 5-wicket haul in first-class cricket (5-46) against the star-studded Bengal side then followed-up with yet another fifty – his 15th (alongside 7 hundreds) in Ranji Trophy cricket.
