Runcton snag former Stag Robinson - 02/11/16

Dean Robinson-2

NORTH RUNCTON will see the return of former Central Stags' run machine Dean Robinson for their 2017 Norfolk Alliance campaign.

Robinson (26) excelled for Runcton last summer belting a chart-topping 1,019 runs at 78.38 in the Norfolk Alliance Premier Division.

His 2016 returns, followed his three prior and prolific seasons abroad with Quatt (2008-09 - the latter hitting 1,157 runs at 82.24) and Wivenhoe Town (2015 - 1,043 runs at 69.53).

The former New Zealand Under-19s batsman has played 25 domestic matches for the Central Districts Stags, with his last match, a first-class game against the Knights in March 2016.

Whilst Robinson remains eager to breack back into the Stags fold, the kiwi run churner, has re-signed for Runcton for his second stint in Norfolk in 2017.
