South Australian Prospect Siebert joins Tattenhall - 02/12/15

TATTENHALL have signed promising South Australian batsman Brett Siebert for their 2016 Cheshire League campaign.


Siebert (19) is a current South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) Premier Cricket 1st Grader with Prospect District Cricket Club. 

He started playing for Prospect under 16s winning a Premiership in his first year, then made his 1st Grade debut at age 17 before being selected for the SACA Under 19 squad in 2014.

During 2014/15 season he was nominated for the Jason Gillespie Medal for 1st Grade Rising Star and won Prospect’s Harold Macfarlane Memorial Trophy for the most improved player of the 2014/15 season.

In his junior years Siebert played cricket for Eastern Suburbs Cricket Club where he enjoyed a variety of successes, winning club champion in 2009 and representing the North Eastern Junior Cricket Association.

During this time he also represented his school, Rostrevor College, playing 1st XI and winning the State Schoolboy’s Knockout Championships against Adelaide High in 2013.

Siebert is looking to broaden his experience and will be spending his first summer in the UK with Cheshire club Tattenhall in the Cheshire County Cricket League.
