HALESOWEN have signed Assupul Tuks opening bowler Dylan Ross-Watt for their Birmingham League campaign.

Ross-Watt (23) is a promising quick bowler playing for Assupul Tuks Cricket (University of Pretoria), the number one ranked University team in the World.

He plays for the Tuks first team, in a side flooded with first-class players, in the strong Northerns Cricket Union Premier League.

Ross-Watt has played for Tuks since February 2013 and has established himself as a key first team performer, particularly in the absence Tuks’ many Titans players.

In 2014/15, the right-arm seamer took 25 wickets at 17.88, with a strike rate of 33.28 and economy of 3.22. He was part of their victorious Varsity Tournament campaign and helped Tuks qualify for the Red Bull World Campus Finals in India (Oct 2015).

This summer (2015/16), Ross-Watt has been hampered by injury, but has returned to full fitness and eager to impress for Halesowen, in what will be his maiden season abroad in 2016.

He hopes to make a big impression in the strong Birmingham and District Premier Cricket League this summer.
