Waldren signs for promoted Tonbridge - 14/12/15

TONBRIDGE have signed promising batting all-rounder Michael Waldren following last summer's promotion into the Kent Cricket League.

Waldren (19) has started the current 2015/16 season well with a fifty on debut for the University of Wollongong in the Cricket Illawarra 1st Grade Competition.

In 127 recorded matches to date, across all formats, Waldren has scored 2,538 runs at 22.86 with a highest score of 140. He has taken 57 wickets at 21.95 including best figures of 7-9.

Waldren has represented numerous sides including Bathurst District Cricket Association, Mitchell Cricket Council, Riverina Cricket Zone, Western Cricket Zone and the Country and City Schools Cricket Association.

He has also had four outings in the Sydney Grade Twenty20 Cup for Cricket Illawarra. 

Waldren will play his first stint in the UK for newly promoted Tonbridge next summer where he hopes to impress in the Kent Cricket League.
