Jackson Latham (21) is a promising seamer playing for Kaikorai Valley in the Dunedin Senior Men’s Competition. The 2013/14 season was Latham’s first full year of Premier club cricket and he impressed, taking 18 wickets at 24.06 culminating with inclusion to the Otago A squad.

He also spent part of his summer playing in Melbourne for Universities 4th XI in the Victorian Premier Competition. In his 8 games, he picked up 12 wickets at 14.92 across the three formats to be awarded the club’s bowling average prize.

Latham return to Otago and played for Kaikorai Valley again in 2014/15 alongside Volt's players Iain Robertson and Ryan Duffy, taking another 31 wickets at 21. He  made quite an impact opening the bowling for the 1st XI and it's anticipated he'll be pushing first-class honours in future.

Latham is eager to progress to higher honours and therefore headed to the UK to play league cricket in 2015. Playing for Stow in the Premier Division of the Norfolk Alliance, he picked up 27 wickets at 26.56 albeit in his season largely affected by injury. He is keen to continue his development and is therefore seeking a return to the UK in 2016.
