Dylan Rayner (19) is a promising quick bowling all-rounder who has excelled for his Hans Moore High School 1st XI and Easterns at Under-17 and 19 level. During the 2014 calendar year, Rayner struck 590 runs at 53.67 and took 26 wickets at 15.57 for Hans Moore, whom he vice-captained to the Easterns Platinum League Title.

He was without doubt one of the most influential performers in the competition, hitting two centuries (including a high of 153 vs Benoni High) and capturing best figures of 5-45 against EG Jansen. He has also been prominent for Easterns at age-group level, particularly with the ball during the CSA Under-17 (2013) and Khaya Majola Coke Week’s (2014) respectively.

Alongside his school and representative commitments, Rayner has spent the last few seasons playing first team cricket for United Cricket Club in the strong Easterns Premier League. He has transferred his age-group exploits into senior cricket and is now looking to push on and break into first-class cricket.

Rayner is now keen to play a season abroad in 2016 and, given his success in school, representative and club cricket to date, he’d be quite the recruit for any club next summer.
