Liam Sebastien (34) is an experienced all-rounder who has graced West Indian domestic cricket since 2002/03, playing over 180 games across the three formats. During this period, he has racked up almost 4,000 runs and taken 250 plus wickets, to include 2,576 runs at 21.28 and 183 wickets at 25.92 in 85 first-class matches.

A former West Indies Under-19 player, Sebastien was on the national radar for several years’ courtesy of consistent performances for Windward Islands. In 2006/07, he averaged 28 and 17 with bat and ball respectively to throw his name into the hat for Windies selection. Thereafter, he became his sides most reliable performer.

He struck centuries during the 2007/08 (133) and 2009/10 (143) seasons, then took 27 wickets at 17.66 in 2010/11. A further 16 wickets at 12.81 in 2012/13 preceded 24 wickets at 25.29 (2013/14) and his career-best season tally of 37 wickets at 26.40 in 2015/16, to include the second of his 7-wicket bags (7-58).

The Windward Islands’ legend boasts an outstanding domestic record and, his success was rewarded with St Lucia Zouks selection for three Caribbean Premier League seasons (2013-15). A leader of men, Sebastien has skippered many of the sides he’s represented, especially in his recent years. He is not only a fine player and great leader, he is an enthusiastic coach who is keen to help the next generation.

In a view to this, Sebastien is keen to return to Northern shores in 2019, following his two-season stint in the now defunct Saddleworth League for GMCL side Friarmere (2007-08). Sebastien is a cricketer (and bloke) that comes highly recommended by former Test player (and fellow CricX client) Kenroy Peters and is someone we strongly recommend for the 2019 season.
