Kevin Crowie (27) is a highly driven cricketer playing first-class cricket for North West in South Africa. A genuine quick and capable lower-order batsman, Crowie made his first-class debut in March 2018 – 8 years after representing Gauteng Under-19s at Coke Week.

Crowie was an incredibly promising junior cricketer who seemed destined for professional honours, especially after a strong Coke week in November 2010. However, at 21, he suffered a serious leg injury which hampered his progression.

After a few years’ hiatus, he returned and his incredible work ethic and exploits at club level for Delfos Cricket Club, eventually culminated with his first-class debut against Border in March 2018 (taking figures of 2-17 and 3-38). He has only played one further first-class match to date, but it’s envisaged the seamer will play the required 5 games to meet Tier 5 criteria to play UK league cricket in 2019.

Crowie, who is a qualified and enthusiastic coach, is eager to showcase his talent in the UK and push towards Franchise cricket. The North West contracted quick represents a fantastic signing for any club in 2019.
