Alongside his school commitments (just finished exams), he has played for St Kilda in the Victorian Premier Competition. The schoolboy stand-out, who has represented St Kilda through the age-groups, and was involved with the Victorian U15 squad, is now eager to progress through the club ranks.

In a view toward his development, Hughes returned to the UK last summer and enjoyed a productive season in London for Shepherds Bush. Given his success, he is now keen to return for another stint in 2024.
