Jacob Gordon is a genuine batting all-rounder playing Premier League, and Minor Counties cricket in Dorset, England.

A hugely talented right-handed opening bat who bowls off-spin - this summer, Gordon has enjoyed plenty of success at all levels, including skippering Oxford Brookes UCCE to the BUCS Men's title, defeating Leeds/Bradford at Lord's.

Gordon has also captained his club side (Bashly Rydal) in the Southern Premier League where, at present (06 Aug) he is one of the divisions leading run-scorers (447 runs at 44.70). Not content with his University and Club performances, Gordon has also racked up runs aplenty for Minor Counties side Dorset across the NCCA competitions, with the highlight being his 130 (159 balls) against Hertfordshire.

The Battersea (SW London) based all-rounder has been a stand-out in recent years, producing a string of notable performances at all levels. Tons for Dorset (122*, 130), and Oxford (100), with best figures of 7-59 for the latter, has seen him pushing for higher honours.

Holder of a New Zealand Passport, the Dorset all-rounder also excelled playing down under last winter (2023/24). He starred for Morrinsville Piako in the Waikato Valley club competition, and was a stand-out for the Province in the Northern Brave Smash (T20), Brian Dunning Cup (50 Over), and Fergus Hickey Rosebowl (2-Day) competitions. His success has culminated with not only a Morrinsville Piako return, but also a Northern Districts Academy contract for the 2024/25 season.

Gordon is quite the prospect who is looking to progress in the game, whether that be in the UK, New Zealand, and Canada. A player to keep tabs on in future.
