Andile Mogakane is a gifted batting all-rounder making his mark with the Warriors in South Africa’s provincial setup. Rising through the ranks with the Dolphins Academy and Cubs, he earned South African U19 honours in 2017/18, featuring at the ICC U19 World Cup in New Zealand. By then, he had already debuted for KwaZulu-Natal in both T20 and List A cricket, later adding a first-class debut in 2019.
Since then, Mogakane has played close to 100 matches across formats for KZN Inland, Coastal, the Dolphins, and now the Warriors, compiling nearly 2,000 runs with seven fifties and chipping in with 25 wickets through his lively medium pace. His performances for the South African Emerging Players between 2023 and 2025 have been equally eye-catching, including standout all-round displays against Zimbabwe (70, 4/57, 5/22) and Bangladesh (55, 4/42).
Armed with a sports degree from Northwood University and a CSA coaching qualification, Mogakane combines on-field flair with a commitment to developing others. Overseas, he has shone for Stokesley in the North Yorkshire and South Durham Premier League, scoring 861 runs and taking 35 wickets in 2022, and for Wargrave in the Home Counties Premier League in 2025. With proven success at home and abroad, he is eager to return to the UK next summer to further showcase his talent.
