Kavindu Dilhara is a talented seam-bowling all-rounder gearing up for a red-ball campaign with Tamil Union this season.

A proud product of St. Aloysius College in Galle, he made early waves by representing his province in the U19 Super Provincial Tournament back in 2019. After the COVID break, he broke into the professional scene with Saracens in the 2021/22 SLC Limited Overs Tournament.

Dilhara really came into his own during the 2022 SLC Emerging Three Day Tournament, finishing as Galle U23’s leading wicket-taker with 26 scalps at 20.11. That form earned him a first-class debut with Chilaw Marians later that year.

Since then, he’s featured in 27 matches across all formats, though red-ball opportunities have been limited — something he’s looking to change this season.

Looking ahead, Kavindu is eyeing a UK club opportunity for the 2026 season to further develop his game and gain overseas experience.

Note: Kavindu's eligibility window for UK club cricket (based on 5 FC matches in the last 36 months) remains open until 09 Sept 2025.

There are no overseas stats available for this player.
