The all-rounder has been part of the North West Dragons age group system for a number of years and is a key member of the current 18's side. In 2023 he was part of the team for the Coca-Cola Khaya Majola U19 national week where he played a crucial part in the team’s success.
Previously he has played age group cricket for Free State (U11 – U16) before moving to Potchefstroom. The young South African is a formidable player and a fierce competitor across all formats of the game.
Eager to conquer new horizons, 19-year-old De Klerk spent the last 3 months in Holland plying his trade for Groen & Wit. Incredibly the young South African took 27 wickets at an average of 24 with the ball in hand. With the bat, he also plundered 875 runs at a staggering average of 60, this included six half centuries and two centuries.
