In 2022, she underlined her world-class credentials by finishing as the third-highest wicket-taker in women’s T20Is globally.
Part of the national set-up since 2010, Oshadhi has been central to Sri Lanka’s rise in the women’s game, helping the team climb to 5th in the ICC ODI rankings and 7th in T20Is. Her ability to contribute with both bat and ball has made her a genuine match-winner, while her leadership has been instrumental in guiding the next generation of Sri Lankan cricketers.
Off the field, she is equally influential. Armed with a Sri Lanka Level 1 Coaching Certificate, an ECB Foundation Course qualification, and the Sri Lanka Cricket Level 5 Umpiring Certificate, she has also completed ICC Foundation Courses in both coaching and umpiring and is currently undertaking the ICC Level 1 Umpiring Course. This blend of elite playing experience and technical expertise has made her a respected mentor for young female players, particularly in a country where women’s cricket has had to fight hard for recognition.
In 2025, Oshadhi took her talents to the UK, representing both Potterne and Royal Wootton Bassett in Wiltshire. She was a standout for Potterne, especially in the Wiltshire Women’s Hardball T20 competition, where she amassed 510 runs at an astonishing average of 102 across all formats for the club. She also tested herself in the Premier Division of the West of England Women’s Premier League with RWB. Her impact was such that Potterne have already secured her services for a second stint in 2026.
