At just 19 years old, he has his sights on breaking into the 1st grade side on a permanent basis this winter, having started the season strongly with the bat, further cementing his reputation as a cricketer with considerable potential.

Beyond Premier Cricket, Jake was instrumental in Trinity College East Perth’s success, where he emerged as the leading run-scorer in the PSA competition. As an opening batter, he amassed an impressive 712 runs across 14 innings, boasting an average of 54. His consistency and skill at the top of the order have marked him as one of the most promising talents in school cricket.

Jake’s standout performances have earned him a place in the U19s talent pathway system, where he continues to push for selection in the Western Australia U19 squad.

Holding an Irish passport, Collingwood travelled to Ireland ahead of the ongoing 2025 Summer. Turning out for NCU Section One side Lurgan Cricket Club, the youngster has impressed during his first stint Overseas. Jake has impressively racked up nearly 700 runs, as well as taking 23 wickets with his Medium Pace.

Returning to Australia ahead of a home Summer in Perth, the 19-year-old is looking for a return to the Northern Hemisphere in 2026, he will once again be putting his Irish Passport to good use.
