Huey Nield (18) is a talented young seamer from Staffordshire, England.
A current member of the Staffordshire County Cricket Development XI, the 18-year-old is a right-arm medium pace bowler who plays club cricket for Audley.
Playing in the North Staffordshire South Cheshire Premier League, Huey made his 1st XI debut at the age of 16 back in 2022. Since then the youngster has played 41 matches, taking 35 wickets at an average of 23.
Improving year by year, Nield returned best season figures in 2024, claiming 18 wickets with a best of 3/38. Playing at such a good standard of Club Cricket due to his ability with the ball, Hueys batting hasnt had too much chance to develop.
With the 2025 campaign fast approaching, the right-handed lower-order batter is working hard on his technique in the nets, hoping by the time he embarks on his season in the Southern Hemisphere, he will be able to contribute more regularly with the bat.
