Mohsin Raza is a seasoned campaigner in Pakistan’s domestic circuit and currently serves as the captain of Larkana — a role that reflects both his cricketing ability and strong leadership qualities. A top-order batter by trade, Mohsin is also a versatile utility player, offering both off-spin and wicketkeeping options depending on team requirements.
After years of consistent performances at state level, 2024 marked a significant breakthrough in Mohsin’s career as he was rewarded with selection to the first-class level. Leading a side that includes prominent names like Pakistan international Mohammad Nawaz and experienced campaigner Umar Waheed, Mohsin’s appointment as captain speaks volumes about his cricketing intelligence, discipline, and respect within the domestic game.
He’s made a promising start to his first-class journey, registering a best score of 58 against Lahore Whites, and with the confidence of leadership behind him, he’s expected to kick on and deliver more big scores as he finds his feet at this level.
With years of experience, a hunger to prove himself, and the ability to contribute in multiple facets of the game, he would be an excellent value pick for any UK club seeking a dependable top-order batter with the added versatility of a part-time off-spinner or wicketkeeper. He has the added bonus of having accomodation available in the Manchester area also.
In 2026 he headed to the UK for his maiden stint in the UK with Ashton CC in the GMCL. Whilst his returns with the bat were modest (502 runs @ 21.83), he did finish the season on a high with half centuries in his last two games and was well received by the club as a coach with the juniors etc. Now keen to use his first years experience to deliver improved numbers next season, Mohsin has a point to prove and is keen to show everyone what he can do.
Determined to make a lasting impact in the UK, Mohsin is ready for the next chapter in his career — one that promises to bring value, leadership, and professionalism to whichever club is fortunate enough to have him in their ranks.
