Nabi Gul is one of Pakistan’s most consistent and reliable domestic performers, known for his solid top-order batting and his ability to adapt to a variety of match situations and conditions. With a strong appetite for big runs, he has built a reputation as a dependable run-scorer who can be trusted to deliver when it matters most.

In first-class cricket, Nabi’s record is impressive, boasting five centuries and three half-centuries, maintaining a healthy average of 35.28. He has also excelled in the List A format, where he currently averages 39.16. Comfortable anywhere in the top order, he is versatile and flexible in his roles, often adjusting his game to suit his team’s needs. His professional best of 148 not out highlights his ability to play both patiently and aggressively, shifting gears as the situation demands. His quality has been endorsed by experienced UK professional Usman Khalid, who regards him as a high-caliber signing for any level of cricket in England.

While primarily known for his batting, Nabi is also a highly competent off-spin bowler. Although he has not been extensively used with the ball at the professional level—largely due to Pakistan’s depth in spin bowling—he offers genuine all-round potential that would add value in the UK cricket environment. He was a key contributor for Peshawar during their run to the 2025 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy final, playing a consistent role in the team’s journey to a nail-biting finish that saw Sialkot clinch the title by just one wicket.

Nabi made an excellent impression during his maiden UK season in 2025, representing Kirkburton in the Drakes Huddersfield League. There, he averaged in the mid-30s with the bat and around 20 with the ball, confirming his ability to adapt and succeed overseas. Now a Level 2 qualified coach, Nabi is eager to return to the UK in 2026, bringing both his cricketing skills and coaching experience to any club fortunate enough to secure his services.
