Jamie Atkins (23) is a former professional cricketer from Sussex, England.
Formerly on the staff at Sussex County Cricket Club, Jamie is an impressive right-arm quick bowler who parted ways with the Club at the end of the 2023 season after spending much of junior career with the County.
Turning out for the Southerners in 8 First-Class Fixtures, the tall seamer picked up 24 wickets at an average of 30.19, with his last appearance coming for the 1st XI back in April 2022. After a period out of the game with a prolonged injury rehabilitation, Atkins returned to the 2nd XI back in 2023.
Returning to Club Cricket in 2024 & 2025 played a handful of games in the Southern Premier League for Roffey Cricket Club. The talented Quick has recently signed as Player/Coach for Surrey Prem side Guildford Cricket Club, where he will be running both senior and junior training throughout the week.
Outside of his club coaching commitments, the Englishman is Head Coach at Brighton University and also a Pathway Coach for Sussex County Cricket Club, and is really keen to take that side of things to the next level also.
Seeking his first stint abroad since stepping away from professional cricket, the impressive quick will be in high demand ahead of the AUS/NZ 2026/27 season. With experience of playing at the highest level, Jamie will be a great addition for any Club looking to push their 1st XI along.
