James Rhodes is a young, opening batter playing for Wakefield Thornes CC in the ECB South Yorkshire Premier League.
Having recently graduated from the University of Leeds, where he led the 1st XI to league success in the BUCS National North Premier League, averaging 64 with the bat.
After being moved to the top of the order at Wakefield for the 2024 season, where he averaged 30 for the season across all leagues and cup competitions. 2025 has also been a success so far, averaging 35 across all competitions.
Moving from strength to strength, James is now looking for a maiden opportunity down under to play some competitive cricket, and build on a current skill set, whilst hoping to contribute to the clubs success.
