James Barwick (23) is a talented off-spin bowling all-rounder from Hertfordshire, England.
Currently captaining Old Albanian Cricket Club in the Hertfordshire Premier Cricket League, James was appointed 1st XI Captain at just 20 years old, becoming the youngest captain in the club’s history. Under his leadership, the club secured promotion in 2024.
A product of the Hertfordshire County Cricket pathway from U13–U18 level, where he captained in his later years, James also represented St Albans School 1st XI and was named Bowler of the Year in 2022. He has also gained valuable experience playing for Ealing CC through their U16–U21 sides.
James has developed into a highly effective all-round cricketer at senior level. In 2024, he took 21 wickets at 13.10 with an economy of just 3.26, alongside 274 runs at 27.40.
His form has continued in 2026, taking an impressive 28 wickets at just 13.21 with an economy rate of 3.51. With the bat, he has scored 440 runs at 33.85, including three half-centuries and a highest score of 79*.
