Oliver Knowles is an extremely talented & exciting wicket-keeper batsman from Tasmania, Australia.
A left-handed top-order batter & reliable gloveman, Knowles is currently part of the Tasmania U19 set up as well as playing 1st Grade Cricket for Greatern Northern Raiders in the Tasmania Premier Competition.
Exceptional behind the stumps, the 18-year-old is currently opening the batting for GNR, however he is capable of batting anywhere from the top order into the middle-order.
Making his debut for GNR at the start of the 2024/25 season, Knowles racked up 318 runs playing 1st Grade last season averaging in the mid-twenties, and boasting a top-score of 74.
Impressive performances at age-group level meant the 18-year-old was selected to represent Tasmania U19's at the National Championships, going on to play in six fixtures for his State.
Now looking to push one once again during the current 2025/26 home Summer, Oliver was also seeking a stint in the Northern Hemisphere for the EU 2026 season. No doubt an exceptionally talented prospect, he has recently put pen to paper with Dutch side Bloemendaal Cricket Club for their upcoming campaign.
