A product of the Leicestershire County Cricket Club Pathway system, Mills represented the County throughout the Junior Age Groups before progressing onto the Academy. Released at 18, the determined seamer continued to push his game forward and earned selection for the Lincolnshire NCCA Men’s Squad, where he enjoyed a standout 2024 season, claiming 34 wickets across the Championship (3-Day) and Trophy (One-Day) competitions.
With the ball in hand, Mills relies on his pace and ability to move the ball away from the batter, making him a genuine threat in all phases of the game. With the bat, he provides valuable middle-order resistance, capable of playing destructive innings to shift momentum, while also demonstrating the temperament to occupy the crease in pressure situations, contributing to multiple match-winning and saving partnerships in recent seasons.
Looking to broaden his horizons and continue his development, Mills is eyeing up a season in the Southern Hemisphere. An ECB Level Two Coach, he is also eager to play an active role in his chosen club’s junior structure, mentoring the next generation of cricketers alongside his on-field contributions.
