His talent was rewarded with South Africa U-19 selection in 2023 and 2024, the highlight being a five wicket haul against Zimbabwe and he also featured in the Under 19 World Cup in South Africa, testament to the talent he posseses.
His first class debut came in late 2024, for Easterns against Limpopo. To nobody's surprise his debut was a success, taking 5 wickets in the match and rushing a lot of the top order batters with his raw pace.
Martin is an immensely promising cricketer, who is keen to embark on his debut UK season and continue the upward curve of his career. He is not only an exciting bowler, but an impressive young man who would be a pleasure to host for any club next summer, he is also keen to add value with junior coaching. For any club seeking a genuine strike bowler with an excellent attitude and a heap of talent, Martin would be an excellent choice.
